And he rolled ga great stone to the entrance of the tomb and went away. Mark 15:43-46
43Joseph of Arimathea, ha respected member of the council, who iwas also himself looking for the kingdom of God, took courage and went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. 44Pilate was surprised to hear that he should have already died. ▼▼Or Pilate wondered whether he had already died
And summoning kthe centurion, he asked him whether he was already dead. 45And when he learned from lthe centurion that he was dead, he granted the corpse to Joseph. 46And Joseph ▼▼Greek he

38 vAfter these things Joseph of Arimathea, who was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly wfor fear of the Jews, asked Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus, and Pilate gave him permission. So he came and took away his body. 39 xNicodemus also, who earlier had come to Jesus ▼▼Greek him
by night, came zbringing a mixture of aamyrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds ▼▼Greek one hundred litras; a litra (or Roman pound) was equal to about 11 1/2 ounces or 327 grams
in weight. 40So they took the body of Jesus and acbound it in adlinen cloths with the spices, as is the burial custom of the Jews. 41Now in the place where he was crucified there was a aegarden, and afin the garden a new tomb agin which no one had yet been laid. 42So because of the Jewish ahday of Preparation, aisince the tomb was close at hand, they laid Jesus there.
